Asa’s mom reached out, wanting to do a photo shoot for his 10th birthday. It was a tradition they started with their daughter when she turned 10. She told me that he loves video games and basketball, so of course, we found ways to incorporate the two into his photos.
We met at the park in Taylor and started out with some typical posed shots. After that, he played basketball for a little bit before pulling out his Nintendo Switch. As we were wrapping up, Asa spotted a great climbing tree, and after receiving a quick nod of approval from his parents, he quickly scaled it with some help from his dad.
As a mom, I’ve realized how fast time truly passes with your kids. I love that Asa’s parents asked me to take these pictures that captured his hobbies and personality during this time of his life. And I especially love that his silly side came out during the photos!
