Abigail and Conner’s wedding day at Rustic Barn Productions in Keithville, Louisiana was one of those days that felt full — full of color, full of laughter, and full of love. From the first moment I met them at their engagement session, I knew they were something special. They’re the kind of couple you instantly feel connected to — kind, easygoing, and surrounded by people who genuinely love them.

The ceremony took place outdoors under the venue’s beautiful covered structure. While the day started off warm, a breeze swept in just in time to make the ceremony feel perfectly comfortable. It was simple, sweet, and centered on what matters most — their faith, their families, and their love for each other. One of Abigail’s brothers officiated, making the moment even more personal and heartfelt.

Abigail paid careful attention to every detail, blending meaningful heirlooms with fun, custom touches. One of the most sentimental pieces was the cake topper — lovingly passed down from her grandparents to her parents, and now used on her own wedding cake. She also wore her mother’s bracelet and incorporated plenty of monogrammed details that added a fun, personal flair.

The bridesmaids each wore a different colored dress, and their bouquets pulled in those hues beautifully, creating a stunning, multi-colored palette that popped against the natural setting. The overall style was rustic with a colorful twist — laid-back, yet intentional.

Before the ceremony, Abigail and Conner shared a “first touch” — a quiet moment where they could talk and pray together without seeing each other. It was such a touching, faith-filled pause in an otherwise busy day. Abigail also had a series of first looks — with her bridesmaids, her flower girl nieces, her brothers, and her dad. She even surprised her mom with a special first dance during the reception.

The reception was as joyful as the rest of the day — full of dancing, laughter, and celebration. Conner’s mom had saved a bottle of champagne from the year he was born, and they opened it together after the ceremony, a meaningful nod to the passage of time and the start of something new.

Photographing this day was such a joy — not only because of the beautiful details and moments, but because of the people. Abigail and Conner, and everyone around them, made the entire day a dream to capture.
