It's hard to believe that it's been almost a decade since I was an FFA member spending my last year wearing the blue jacket as an Arkansas FFA State Officer. I would write 100 blogs on how much the organization means to me and how my time in FFA changed my life, but that's not the reason for this post.
Nearly 10 years ago I was speaking at a chapter FFA banquet when I met this tiny little girl, Josie. She was only in elementary school but could already recite the FFA Creed! If you were an FFA member, you probably know how daunting of a task it was to memorize all five paragraphs, but Josie breezed through each of them with impressive skill.

I've had the joy of watching Josie mature and grow over the past 10 years to a young woman who is poised, well spoken, and beautiful inside and out. When her mom reached out about taking some of her senior pictures, I was absolutely honored.
To make the occasion even more special, Josie wanted to take pictures at Camp Couchdale - a spot that holds a special place in both of our hearts. Camp Couchdale is the heart of Arkansas FFA and a place that she and I both have wonderful memories of camps, conferences, and other events.
I may or may not have almost cried at least 15 times while taking her photos. I am just so proud to see who she has become. I hope you enjoy this special session as much as I did!
